A photo of a man taking a photo of the Queen Mary II when she docked at Liverpool - the big ships are brilliant but do have the effect of minimising the 'Wow!' factor of anything else that visits, including the military ships, due to their sheer size.

Calderstones Park has lots of these lovely big old trees - it's great to live near somewhere like the park and be able to see the changes that happen to the trees through the year.

This umbrella had been discarded in Calderstones Park - the city's parks descend into complete chaos at the first sign of any snow. Madness but it makes for great photo opportunities.

Shot from when the QM2 was in town – can’t get enough of the big ships, the cruise liner terminal is one of the best things to have happened to the city in the past few years. The only problem with this ship was it’s sheer size – everything else that comes in afterwards is going to look like a tiddler in comparison.
